Best places to get Fuel
ON-SITE: LRP has fuel available on-site, offering: 93 octane ($6.00/gal); VP Racing 100 octane "street blaze" ($10.75/gal); 110 octane ($13.00/gal); LEADED Race Fuel ($12.00/gal)
The on-site Fueling station is un-manned and accepts all major credit cards. the control system is located in the center of the fueling island between the 2 pumps. the system is unlike a normal gas station, you will swipe your card, enter the number of gallons you would like to pump and which pump number to activate from a small key pad. the pumps require manual activation by lifting the handle and will shut off when the selected amount of fuel was reached. no receipts are printed.
Best places to stay (Lodging)
- Interlaken Inn - 74 Interlaken Rd, Lakeville, Connecticut 06039, United States
- DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol, Connecticut - 42 Century Dr, Bristol, Connecticut 06010, United States
Unfortunately for most track goers, major hotel chains like Hilton, Marriott, etc are not available nearby LRP. Townships like: Bristol, CT; Lebanon, NY, etc are 30 miles away, however due to the limited highway access to/from LRP the commute times can often be 1 hr or more to/from the venue.
There are many nearby AirBNBs and Inns throughout the LRP area.
Locals recommend the Interlaken Inn (http://www.interlakeninn.com/) boasting some 200 rooms; and 5 miles from LRP. However, this venue does not have room for trucks+trailers and arrangements for drop off must be planned for ahead of time.
